Pet Suffocation Prevention Resources

Each week in the U.S., 2-3 pets are reported to suffocate to death inside bags. This happens quickly, within 3-5 minutes, with owners oftentimes only a room away.

This death is preventable. Cutting up chip bags, securely storing trash, and learning pet CPR are just a few of the ways to prevent this. The flyer and images below were created in an effort to help raise awareness about pet suffocation. Please share them freely.
